Although new to the board I am wondering how y'all prepare your fish for the table. Here is a favorite recipe of mine which never fails to draw rave reviews...which I modestly add!

mix:
3/4 cup dry vermouth
3/4 cup olive oil
1 &1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 teaspoon salt dash of fresh ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1/8 teaspoon sage
1 tablespoon minced parsley

marinate salmon fillets or steaks in this for 3-4 hours in the fridge.

broil or better yet BBQ.

try it you'll like it!!

Thanks for the recipe.

Here's an easy one:

1/3 cup red wine
1/3 cup vinegar
1/3 cup soy sauce

Marinate for about 30 minutes, BBQ, Bake or broil.

This is the one I keep coming back to:

this is for 1 fillet of salmon or steelie.

1 teaspoon salt & pepper
1 & 1/2 tablespoons of lime juice not lemon
1 1/2 tablespoon garlic salt or in jar
cop up some fresh rosemary and put in mixing container.
1/2 cube of butter

melt the butter first then add everything else mix and spread over fish both sides either baking or BB-Q, and on the last flip coat the top side of the fish with the rest of the batter and let sit until fish is done. This is my favorite!! Enjoy!

Here is a real easy and great tasting way to prepare salmon.

Take a skinless fillet and spread Mayonnaise on both sides then roll in breadcrumbs and bake… It’s some of the best eating fish I’ve ever had.

Peace

This is one I like alot.
One small onion sliced real thin.
1/4 cube butter
dash of sesame oil
couple of dashs of soy sause
mix all of the above and spread over fillet wrap in foil bake. Just before it is done open top of foil and broil till it turns brown on top.
